Photosmart D7260
Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

I am trying to print with my mother's D7260 printer connected to my MacBook Pro OS x 10.10.  I just purchased new cartridges and the photos are still printing mostly green in the pictures.  What should I do to correct this?

Hello, @Cuds – Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for your continued participation on the HP Forums. I’d like to be of your assistance!

Going through your post, I see that you are facing issues while printing photos from your MAC. First, try and print a self-test page on the printer to isolate the issue. Here are the steps:

  1. Touch the Tool icon in the upper left-hand corner to access the Setup menu screen.
  2. In the Setup menu, touch Tools.
  3. Touch Self-test Report to begin printing the test page. Check whether all colors have printed properly.

If the self-test page is also printed with wrong colors, then follow the steps listed here: http://hp.care/2rYbQy3

Start with Step 4.

If the self-test page comes out fine, then the issue could be with the print settings. Follow the steps here to print clear photos: http://hp.care/2rXYnGj

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Good luck 🙂
