Hi,

 

A while ago, I started getting the error message on my HP LJ 2420dn: 49.2F9D Error To continue turn off then on. I followed the directions in the message, and it did not resolve my Problem.

 

So then I turned off the printer again, and disconnected the power cable for 10 - 20 seconds, and after that, connected the cable and then turn on the printer. I got the same error message again, and on second try, the printer turned on normally. After the print job was complete, I turned the switch off.The next time I turned the printer on, I am greeted with same error message.

 

Every time I want to print something I have to go through the whole process of disconnecting and connecting the cable, and the resut is quite random. Sometimes the printer initializes correctly in the first attempt, sometime it takes 2, 3, 4 attempts (I have never had to try more than 4 times).

 

I would be really grateful if someone could help me get rid of this error.
