Hi,

I've tried to have duplex printing with my HP2450 device for several times. However, I struggle with the automatic duplex printing. I read in one of the articles in HP forum and followed the instructions but the problem still exist. I can not automatically duplex printing even though I set the print properties as flip on long edge.

please advise.

Thanks

@ghjuk

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP PSC 2450 Photosmart printer. I understand that you are unable to print on both sides, and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Open the document that you want to print, click File, then click Print.
  • Select the name of your printer, then click Printer Properties or Preferences, or Printer Setup, depending on what displays.
  • If a Printing Shortcut tab or a duplexing shortcut is not available, click the LayoutFeatures, or Finishing tab, depending on which tab displays in your driver version.
  • Locate the Print on Both Sides or Two-sided printing menu or option, then select the binding or page flip option depending on if you want the document to read like a booklet or a tablet.
  • Click OK, then click Print.
  • Remove the printed first side pages from the output tray, then tap the stack on a flat surface to align the pages.
  • Load the printed first side pages into the main input tray.
  • Click Continue.

Click here to refer the document and perform troubleshooting steps to fix this issue.

If the issue is resolved and you appreciate my help,

Please click the "Accept as Solution" button and the "Thumbs Up".

Let me know how you make out.

Cheers.
