I set up my printer a few days ago, and the print qualityis way too dark. I've printed a print quality diagnostics page, cleaned the cartriges, and aligned the printer. It all seems fine. I've also changed the print quality to best, and have tried printing from Microsoft Word, Adobe Reader, Silhouette Studio, and Preview. All of these programs print with the same dark quality. I can understand that colors may not always match the display colors, but the color on my prints are way off, a bright orange will print brown. I tried printing the same document on another printer, and the colors were alot more accurate. Please help.

Hi @jocyy21,
Thanks for reaching out to the forums! I understand that you are having issues with the print quality being too dark. Thanks for providing the steps that you have already tried. I would be happy to help you.
Since the dark printing is only when you are printing from the computer, it is most likely software related.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. Make sure it shows just the printer's name.
Click the Apple menu and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer name on the left side and on the right side of the screen it should show the printer's name. (Deskjet 3755)
If the full printer name isn't listed correctly, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.
You can check the print driver settings using this document: Printing and Changing Print Settings (OS X).
If the issue is resolved and you appreciate my help, please click the "Accept as Solution" button and the "Thumbs Up". Let me know how you make out. Cheers!
