Chnaged the cartridge - alignment page printed but then wouldn't scan - said it went to default setting - I have tried the hard reset as suggested to others and still doesn't print -

Thanks for showing your interest in the HP Forums! I see that you are having issues scanning the alignment. I would like to help.

 

Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a powered hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

 

If you are still having issues, please take a look at this document: 'Alignment Unsuccessful' Error Message Displays.

 

Are you using Genuine HP Cartridges?
