Hello,

Have you cleaned or replaced the POSITION DETECT ASSY RM1-5604.  For the CP4525, 90% of the time this part is responsible for the intermittent 59.F0 error issue.

If you have replaced the POSITION DETECT ASSY RM1-5604, please feel free send me a private message and I would like to help you further on resolving this issue.

Best regards,

Dave

Thank you for your reply.  I am not a printer technician  or service engineer so I will not be taking the machine to bits to find the POSITION DETECT ASSY RMI-5604, not that I would have any idea what it looked like!

Thank you for the suggestion however.

Kind regards

Hello,

I could provide you with an instruction on how to clean the part.  You would have to remove 3-4 screws and the Top Cover.

Thanks,

Dave

Hello Radit,

I sent you a private message regarding the cleaning procedure.  If possible, could you please try it and if it works, we can figure out how to get this attached to the general forum for use.

Thanks,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I followed your instructions, which were very straight forward, but I still ran into issues. It turned out that the issue was much simpler to fix. I just needed to upgrade the firmware. Once it was updated and the machine was restarted, there were no more issues.

I really appreciate your help!

Where did you download the software from?
