I can print but I get a message "No Scan Options" . I didn't have this problem a couple of weeks ago but not I do. I tried getting update drivers and tried using HP Print and Scan Doctor to no avail.

Thanks for using the HP Forums.
Please Uninstall and Reinstall the FULL feature software following these steps:
1. Uninstall the software in your computer
2. Download and save the FULL feature software (do not install it online)

3. Install the FULL feature “Saved” software

Thanks for your feedback.
1. Left Click on your Start button and go to Control Panel
2. Under "Programs" > Select Uninstall a program
3. Select the HP 5600 components to uninstall
4. After Uninstalling, restart PC and then follow the instructions in the previous post to download and reinstall the software.

Hi,
Can you try this Scan software:
HP Scan Extended
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi
Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

I folowed your instructions but when I clicked on HP Scan Extended I got this message "the HP Imaging Device was not found". I tried uninstalling and re-installing it 3 times and got the same results every time. Also, when I click on Start directly under Control Panel was Devices and Printers. I right clicked on HP Officejet 5600 series and one of the options was "Remove Device". Would this apply to your previous instructions about uninstalling the software and reinstalling it?
