Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your post I see that you are getting 3 beeps while printing. I would like to help you out with this issue today.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • Are you getting any error message or error codes on the computer along with beeps when you try to send the fax?

Meanwhile:

  • Reset the printer.
  • Remove the power cable when it is turned on.
  • Remove the fax cable.
  • Press and hold the power button for 30secs to drain the static charge.
  • Connect the power cable directly to the wall outlet.
  • Connect fax cable.
  • Turn on the printer.

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply.

  • What happens when you press ok when you get that error message?
  • Also, check if you are getting any error codes in numbers instead of error message.
