Product: HP 7520 & HP 564XL
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

We installed a brand new HP 564XL black ink cartridge (original HP product purchased from Costco).   After printing a couple of pages, HP printer is now not recognizing the printer.  It shows ink level nearly full, but shows blank box on the Printer Report.

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve black not printing on your Photosmart 7520 printer.  Go through the steps in order.
