HP Recommended

My document feeder recognized paper in it but does not pull when scanning.  It will scan from the glass but not thru the feeder.  Can't seem to find a solution to this.  Help if you can.  Also, can't figure out out to "tell" it to pull from the feeder if that is a possible solution.
