Hi All,

I am also having the same problem. Were there any soultion or the only option is to return the printer to HP?

My solution - remove any references to IP 6. Found this under Wireless - Advanced Settings on the menu. After clearing the Use IPV6, printer started spewing print jobs and responding. Also have a static IP set for the printer.

Internet router/modems that use the new 2.4 & 5ghz standards, default to a WPA2 security mode. Older devices like the HP 8630 printer are not compatible with the WPA2 security firewall. So, you have to change the security mode on the modem to WPA. You can do it yourself if you can connect to the modem's Gateway Dashboard. The screen to look for is in the Connection/Wi-Fi screen. If you cannot connect to it, then call your service provider to make the change.
