I receive message: A problem prevents the document from being scanned. Please try again or for troubleshooting see help and support" Also, where can I find the HP PRINT AND SCAN DOCTOR?

Edits - Add Scan Doctor:

 

 

If the program to which you refer is Windows Live Photo Gallery, the software is likely not fully compatible with Windows 10.  Nothing we can do about that.

 

  • You may want to reinstall your copy of Windows Photo Gallery.

Side Bar:  If you have not done so in the past, please be careful of using Registry Cleaners.  The wrong cleaner, or the right cleaner used incorrectly, can (and may) damage your Registry and / or your installed File System.

 

There are a number of Scan options / programs available in Windows 10.

I found a solution elsewhere. All I had to do was unplug the HP printer, wait one minute, re-plug, and the recycling fixed the problem.
