I have the same error on a friends Printer which seems brand new.

 

MOdel 6380  all in one

 

have tried all the possible checks.

Ive been in computers 25+ years, so yes I know what Im doing.

 

It does look like a firmware issue,

From the previous post, it seems there is a way to  reset the firmware?

 

Can you send me the instructions.

Or is this a lost cause.. ie the printer has been forced to fail by the firmware......
