My printer will not print black. The black cartridge is 60% full. The color cartridge is 50% full. Alignment pages show full color printing, and will not print in black at all. I have tried several ways to troubleshoot, including what I have read in these forums. I have tried:

- Cleaning the print heads

- Unplugging, replugging

- Running a "partial reset" through the menu

- removing cartridges and reinstalling them

Error messages include that the scanner cannot recognize the alignment page, and the alignment page has a red triangle with an exclamation point, along with a barely visible picture that looks like it is trying to tell me something.

I have wasted so much of my day on this. It is driving me bananas. Please help.
