Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to scan my photos in another room. Can I just move the printer to another room to scan without being connected to my computer?

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that you wanted to know if you can scan from your HP Photosmart C4600 All-in-One Printer.

 

If the printer is connected on a wireless network, then you can move only the printer.

 

If the printer is connected to the computer via USB cable, then you need to move both the computer and the printer.
