HP CM1415fnw color MFP

I just replaced color ink cartridges again.

When using QuickBooks, I find that basic accounting reports default to color.  I have tried to change in QuickBooks the use from color to monochrome, but I cannot find a "global" setting in QuickBooks to always print in Black & White or Greyscale as a default.

Is there a way in the program features in the HP CM1415 printer to disable the use of color when printing or when printing in QuickBooks?

TIA

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

As I Understand there's unnecessary amounts of color ink being used by your printer,

No worries as I'd love to help, however, I need a few more details to provide an accurate solution:

Does this issue occur only while using the Quickbooks? if yes, you may want to use a different application or Contact Quickbooks support for further support regarding the application and the way it prints.

Did you attempt setting the program setting back to defaults? if it ever worked without these issues this should resolve it.

However, if the print quality issues persists on all applications you use, please try the below steps:

Solution one: Adjust, reload, and change the paper

The most common cause for print quality issues is paper that is not compatible with the product. This can result in poor paper feeding, or in poor toner adhesion. Make sure that the paper or media type meets HP's specifications.

Solution two: Rock the print cartridges to distribute the toner evenly, and then check the printer environment

Follow these steps to rock the print cartridges and to check the product environment.
