HP Color LaserJet cp2025
macOS 10.12 Sierra

I have a HP Color LJ cp2025 with duplex printing. Recently, when I print loud squeking occurs as the paper goes through the internal. However, this only happens when the second side of the paper is being printed on. 

 

Otherwise, the printout is fine.

 

Any ideas on how to address the squeaking?

I think you nailed it with it being something in the duplexer.   Open the rear door to the duplexer and see if there are obstructions or bits of paper, dust, etc. near the rollers.

 

Here is a doc that provides some info on accessing the duplexer, but I would look throughout that whole area:
