HP Color LaserJet Flow MFP M68
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an HP Color LaserJet Flow MFP M680 that is giving the  Event 44.12.05 "Error writing multi-page  image file" when I scan a multi page document and will not allow the document to open it is corrupted.

the scanner works when I scan a single page file, but gives this error everytime I try scanning a multipage document.

It has the newest firmware, and the domain creds are right, but it keeps giving this error for muti-page documents.

does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?

any help or ideas to try are appericated

thanks,

Hello

As per the Event Log Error (Control Panel Message Display Error) no action is needed, however if the issue is persists only for multi pages, then I would suggest you to configure freshly on another PC and check, if you are experiencing same issue.

HP normally recommends updating Firmware in such situations, since the firmware is latest version. You may try re-flashing Firmware on printer and check.

And, as I said, you may configure on another PC and check or you may also check for scan to e-mail.

If this does not help you to resolve the issue, you may contact HP Support Center
