Hi Jhuc99 ,
If you have already tried all the steps from Message 14 , then try the steps in the private message, to see if it helps.
In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.
Any feedback would be appreciated. What happened prior to the printer going into initializing? (paper jam, changed toner)
Please let me know the results.
Have a nice day!
Thank You.

I just received one of these printers form amazon yesterday. Im having the same issue.
Ive tried the power cycling, removed all tonner and re-seated them. upgraded the firmware using the usb cable. but same issue occurs it never gets past initializing.
The yellow toner is usually the one on top when it stops the loud clicking noises the unit makes every time it powers up.
Ive noticed on the imagimg drum a yellow line. the yellow toner roller also has a long line across it. having tried everything i can think of, is there any other possible reset process to try? also the red toner had a black line across it

Hi @engineer01 ,
I read your post and see that the printer is making loud clicking noises and the printer is stuck initializing. The imaging drum has a yellow line on it and the yellow toner roller also has a long line across it. I would really like to be able to help you resolve this issue.
There shouldn't be any lines or yellow lines across the imaging drum or the toners.
Was the printer sealed in the box when it arrived?
I will send you a reset in your Private Messages, but I would suggest to call our technical support at 800-474-6836 for further assistance. I have a Brand New Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw doing the same thing... stuck in initializing. Can you send reset instruction please?
This is very frustrating, it is also making a grinding noise when first powered on. Very expensive paperweight.
