HP DESKJET 3632
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hello,

I spent like 4 hours now on trying to set up my new printer HP DESKJET 3632.

I followed the manual, downloaded the treibers etc. I want to set it up in my home network for wireless printing.

My main problem is that whatever I do - the printer is not being recognised in my network(per wifi or bluetooth) or on my desktops (tried it on several pcs) with my USB cable.

As I mentioned in the subscription, the touchpad which is meant for the installation is blinking (all of the buttons go on and off at the same time).

When I turn it off, it turns itself back on and blinks again. If I un/-and replug it, it does the same.

PS. The really wierd thing is that when my Mom plugged it in to our Mac(two weeks ago), it worked and was recognised without any problems. But now it doesnt even work on there.

Well I really dont know what to do anymore... Is there a way to reset the printer except from un-and repluggin?

I'd be very gratefull for any (fast) answers/suggestions on what I can try or do to sort this out.

Cheers

James

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP DESKJET 3632 printer. I understand that it does not maintain wireless connection and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Restart the computer, printer, and router.
  • Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
  • Check the status of the wireless connection.
  • Update the printer firmware.
  • Assign a manual IP address to your printer.

Click here and follow the steps mentioned in the document to perform above troubleshooting steps.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.
