HP Designjet 1050c set up

Hi there,

I recently purchased a HP Designjet 1050c printer, and I am having difficulties with the printer set up. I am aware that HP does not make a windows 10 compatible driver. Do i have any options to get my printer up and running?

how are you connecting to plotter? from laptop, desktop, ethernet cable, serial cable??

Thanks for the reply. I checked that out, and should answer some questions.

I would like to connect my plotter to my desktop. Right now I have an ethernet cable connecting the two. I think this could be incorrect.

Will the 1050c connect wirelessly?

it will but you have to use a wireless router . you can't use just the ethernet cable from desktop to plotter. Do you have an EIO card on the back of the plotter?

this should be the same whether it's windows 8 or 10 as far as hooking it up.
