Hi,
I've got a HP Designjet 510 that is showing error 63:03. The error suggests a firmware upgrade but I can't find the correct firmware to download.
I can find the model number on the firmware page but at the side of it shows a different model name.
Can anyone link me to the correct firmware update?
Thanks in advance.

What is the firmware on the printer?
You can find it by going into service mode

During this time, I serviced contract and warranty calls within the Northern Indiana area. When I left HP, I took my HP Designjet service experience and started my own business servicing out of contract plotters. Designjetpartsfast.com was launched in 2009. With over 20 years Designjet experience, I can help you resolve issues you are experiencing with your Designjet Printer.

The link below is for the upgrade firmware for the Models 500, 800 and 510. It is version A.04.02 which is the latest version for any of those plotters. This is for windows operating systems.

System error 63:03
Explanation
LAN card communication problem.
Recommended action
Turn the printer off and allow a few minutes for printer to cool.
Turn on the printer, following initialization re-send the file that generated the error.
If the error re-appears, re-create the file and try printing again.
If the file is PostScript, check to see if it is binary. If the file is binary, use AppleTalk to send the file to the printer. If AppleTalk is not being used to send the binary file to the printer, change the printer's internal PostScript settings to Binary (Set-up menu, PS settings, Encoding, Binary).
If the error message persistss, check for a new release of the driver.
Additional workaround:Upgrade the printer's firmware (if upgrade is available).
- Delete the Jetdirect port and recreate the port using Microsoft Standard TCP/IP port.
