Error 08:04 and ask to update firmware however I couldn't  updat it because I never have acess to the main menu to proceed to the updating.  Regarding the service manual seems that I have a damage in the formatter or in the hard drive. To confirm this damage I already asked for a hp technician and he confirm tajht the error could be caused by a damage in the formatter or in the mainboard but I should start to change the formatter and the hard drive.  I ordered the both parts and after installed and startup the machine,  I finally have the machine start working.  During next days I started to print several jobs and I did not had any problems. Yesterday morning  power up the machine and  inicialiazing mode.  When reaching 42% in initializating mode the machine stoped again with error 08:04.  There are someone that could give me some help?

Thanks!

Use usb thumb drive method to update firmware which you should have tried before ordering parts.
