Welcome to HP Support Forum. I hope you're well @absurana!
I came across your post about the printer issue and wanted to share my suggestion with you 🙂
Going through your post, I see that you are getting very bad print quality while using the Deskjet 2130 printer. I need to know the ink levels on both the cartridges on your printer. Please do let me know the same.
First off, try the steps mentioned here: http://hp.care/2nxvzpK
Thoroughly follow the steps listed under Step 2, 8, 9, 10 &11.
If the issue persists, remove the color cartridge from the printer and use the printer in single-cartridge mode. Try making a copy on the printer in the single cartridge mode and check.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Good luck 🙂

Thanks for your reply, Ink levels for black cartridge is full. it's a new cartridge installed 1 month back and didn't print a single page. Although the colour cartridge is finished. but I am printing a word doc with simple text lines in black so i don't think I need a colour cartridge. let me know if you think this is a problem.

Hi! @absurana, I am the MrRobot. It looks like you were interacting with @Dvortex, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.
Thanks for your response and time.
I appreciate your efforts for trying out the steps.
Have you tried performing a copy from your printer?
Please try the steps recommended below.
Manually clean the area around the ink nozzles
Gather the following materials:
Dry foam rubber swabs, lint-free cloth, or any soft material that does not come apart or leave fibers (coffee filters work well)
Distilled, filtered, or bottled water (tap water might contain contaminants that can damage the ink cartridges)
CAUTION:
Do not use platen cleaners or alcohol to clean the ink cartridge contacts. These can damage the ink cartridge or the printer.
Press the Power button to turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
Lower the output tray, reach inside the printer, and then grasp the handle and lower the ink cartridge access door to open it.
The carriage moves to the center of the printer.
Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before you continue.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
WARNING:
You must disconnect the power cord before reaching inside the printer to avoid the risk of injuries or electric shock.
Lightly press down on one of the ink cartridges to release it, and then pull the ink cartridge toward you out of its slot.
Do not remove both ink cartridges at the same time. Remove and clean each ink cartridge one at a time. Do not leave an ink cartridge outside the printer for more than 30 minutes.
Hold the ink cartridge by its sides.
Inspect the ink cartridge contacts for ink and debris buildup.
CAUTION:
Do not touch the copper-colored contacts or the ink nozzles. Touching these parts can result in clogs, ink failure, and bad electrical connections.
Lightly moisten a foam-rubber swab or lint-free cloth with distilled water, and then squeeze any excess water from it.
Clean the face and edges around the ink nozzle with the swab.
CAUTION:
Do not clean the ink nozzle plate.
Either let the ink cartridge sit for 10 minutes to allow the cleaned area to dry, or use a new swab to dry it.
Slide each ink cartridge at a slight upward angle into the empty slot, and then gently push up on each ink cartridge until it locks into place.
Repeat these steps to clean around the nozzles on the other ink cartridge.
Close the ink cartridge access door.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Press the Power button to turn on the printer, if it does not turn on automatically.
If you have already tried these steps and if the issue still persists it is a hardware issue with the ink cartridge or printer itself.

I'll watch your response!
Have a great day ahead! 🙂
