DeskJet2130
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had to reset my computer. I downloaded the driver software from HP for my 2130 Deskjet. After installation, the window that states "connect the usb cable" does not move forward. My printer is on, the usb cord is plugged into my computer, my computer detects my printer but the installation can not move forward. If I select the box for "continue the install without connecting now" button and hit "skip" still nothing happens. My chord works, my printer is new, my usb ports work, i downloaded the latest software, why can't the software download completley? I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times and still have the same problem. Please help me!

Try unplugging the USB cable. The instructions state do not plug in the USB cable until the software tells you to do so.    Start again.

I have already done that. Still no response.

Fully remove all software and drivers from your computer.  Unplug the USB cable.  Let's try again.  Plug the USB cable in when asked.
