Hi ToneGynnild, good morning !

Welcome to HP Forum !

🙂

Check this document about this:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04616318

Choose your operating system for the steps to achieve these margin settings:
  • OS X: Select Manage Custom Sizes from the Print Driver settings.
  • Windows: Click the Advanced tab in the print driver, and then select Minimize Margins.

These are the limits for print area.

I hope that helps !

Check this previous post abou the same problem:

The @Dragon-Fur (Expert of HP Forum) explained about this:

"

Printer:

HP DeskJet 2132 All-in-One Printer (the same specification of Deskjet 2130 ok)

  • The Specifications do not indicate that the printer is capable of borderless.
  • If the setting is indeed available (in spite of the specs), then the option will show up in the Printing Preferences.

The Specifications state the minimum margins as follows:

Media

1. Left (LM)

2. Right (RM)

3. Top (TM)

4. Bottom (BM)*

8.5 x 13 in

A4

A5

B5

16.5 mm (0.65 in)

The bottom margin shows as .57 inches.

This does not mean you cannot print the image / document on A4 paper -- it does mean that there will be a minimum margin setting around the edges of the document that may indeed one size at the top / left / right margins and another size at the bottom.

Absolute margin restrictions cannot be overwritten with software preferences.

The best you can do is to perhaps "Fit the document" to the paper and match the top / side margins to be about the same as the bottom.  The total image / document will print smaller to fit within the selected margins (assuming Shrink-to-Fit is used); the print will at least be mostly centered and appear pleasing to the eye.

You can adjust the margins with Print Preview.
