I have just bought a HP 2710e printer. I damaged the set up cartridges. I have bought new cartridges, but these do not work and I keep getting a message "Check printer for errors". Is there any way to reset the printer so that normal cartridges will work?

Hello @roro69 .
1. a. Open the ink cartridge access door.
2. b. Press and hold the Wireless button for 3 seconds.
3. c. Close the access door. A Load Paper message displays on the control panel, and the printer begins initializing.
4. d. If the initialization does not begin, repeat steps a through c until initialization begins.
5. e. Follow the prompts on the control panel to complete initialization.

Follow the steps to reset the printer, turn off the printer and unplug power cord.
Then plug the power cord again and reinsert the ink cartridges
* Click on YES button to say thanks,
* Click on the button Accepted Solution if the question is answered.
