Hello. I have a problem with my Deskjet 1510 printer. I am on windows 7 home premium 32 bit sistem. When I try to copy it says "The HP Deskjet 1510 series was not found. When I check the ink, it shows, so I think its connected to the PC. In Devices and Printers I can see my printer. What can I do? It's very urgent.
Note: When I do the alignment, at scanning the test sheet step, it is scanning it.

Hello, @Edward419 – Hope you are well 🙂
Thanks for engaging in the HP Forums! I see by your post that you are experiencing issues while scanning using the Deskjet 1510 printer. I will certainly do my best to help you 🙂
Let’s first try to fix this issue using HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR). PSDR is an automated tool which can diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. Please go to http://hp.care/2bZ9w2q to download and run HP PSDR. Once you open the program, select your printer and click on “Fix Printing” to automatically diagnose and fix the issue.
If the issue persists, try to reinstall the drivers. Here are the steps:
- Unplug the USB cable from the printer and computer if present.
- Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Deskjet printer entries and uninstall them.
- Restart your computer.
- Now, go to http://hp.care/2etPzkQ to download and install the printer drivers.
- Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
Also, check http://hp.care/2kUwaj1 for instructions on how to scan from your PC.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.
Good luck 🙂
