I'm sure that I have connected my ph printer to my notebook but I can't scan nor print.  The screen said,'The HP Deskjet 2050 J510 series was not found'

The last time it happened I uninstalled it and installed again, then it worked.  Now after a few days it didn't work again.

It may have been a bad connection with the USB cable. Do you have another one to exchange?

Seems to be losing connection after a while. USB cable can be the cause. You can also try to plug it into another port on the computer.

Sorry that you are having a problem with the printer connection.

Is it connected wireless or USB?

Try to run the print and scan doctor.

Let me know the results.

Thank you for your suggestion. The printer was connected with a USB as what I usually do. But it just couldn't be connected and even the print and scan doctor doesn't help at all. I'm totally disappointed with HP printers.

This problem 'The HP Deskjet 2050 J510 series was not found' is all over the internet on all forums.

This is *NOT* cable problem.

Problem is simple, HP printers are trash.

I have exactly same printer, this problem happened once, I kind of managed to get it disappear by removing all drivers, disconnecting printer, then installing new version of drivers back and connecting printer.

But now, without any change being made on a computer, this problem is again there! And it is there right in the middle of the moment when I need to scan something! I tried again to re-install drivers, re-connect printer, but this time it didnt work.

Enough is enough, I dont feel like I want to continue with this *bs*, my solution is simple, scan page somewhere else, and get another brand for printer/scanner.

Its horrible when company simply ignores obvious cases and doesnt try to troubleshoot their trash products or improve the drivers. But thats what you get for it, you make people buy another brand.
