Hi @FeisalR,

Spectacular troubleshooting, superb description and splendid analysis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. You are a valued Hp customer and I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you.
For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.
- Did you try to bypass power strips and connect the printer directly to the wall outlet?
- Did you perform a hard reset on the printer?
For a start, please perform a hard reset on the printer: http://support.hp.com/hk-en/product/HP-DeskJet-2130-All-in-One-Printer-series/7174550/model/7529634/... Please perform only step 1 from this link.
Then connect the printer directly to the wall outlet.
Then uninstall the printer software completely, by following these steps:
- Click the Start menu of the PC
- Click on All Programs
- Open the HP folder
- Open the folder for the Officejet 6600
- Click on Uninstall option
- Once the uninstall is complete the program will disappear
- Click on the Start menu of the PC again
- Click on Devices and Printers
- Delete the 6600 if it is still present
- Select any remaining printer by left clicking once
- At the top of the window click on Print Server Properties
- Click on the Drivers tab
- Remove any listings of the printer
Then follow the steps mentioned in this link: http://support.hp.com/hk-en/product/HP-DeskJet-2130-All-in-One-Printer-series/7174550/model/7529634/... please follow the steps most appropriate to your current situation which is "What if my printer is not found or connected during USB setup" from the FAQs.
Please keep me posted. I will keep a watch for your reply.

Hi @FeisalR,
I reviewed the post comprehensively. I was away for a couple of days. Awesome troubleshooting, brilliant persistence and great effort to try and resolve the issue.
Please contact Hp phone support to get the issue resolved as it could be a hardware issue with the printer and not software related. Steps to contact HP phone support:
Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number, Case number and phone number appear.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
If the unit is under warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty should take care of it for you.
You've been simply fabulous to work with, considering your technical expertise and exhaustive technical skills. 🙂 It has been an absolute privilege to share this platform with you. 🙂 Trust me, I've done all I can to assist you, by keeping your best interest in mind.
I honestly hope the issue gets resolved and the printer works great and stays healthy for a long time to come. 🙂

It looks like you were interacting with @DavidSMP, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out,
I'm the Riddle_Decipher & I'm at your service.
I reviewed your post and I wanted to let you know that there's no such thing as a non-compatible printer with a specific notebook as such,
That said, I recommend you attempt using the windows built-in drivers since the HP Drivers for this printer isn't working as you've mentioned before.
If a full feature driver from HP is not available for your printer, you must install the built-in print driver. A full feature driver for one or more Windows versions is not available for your printer, either from the CD that shipped with your printer or from the HP website: Click here for the details.
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.
