HP Deskjet 2540 will not print some documents, will print others

Just use other printerdriver and it works. I must look witch one exactly but i tried several hp drivers and...yes every document worked.

If you change the TMP environment variable different from %LOCALAPPDATA%\Temp, don't print.

My customer  has 10 printers Deskjet 2546 (with 20 users) and one M127fn (with 6 users) and they are not administrators. All have TMP and TEMP user environment changed to another folder where users can full acess to folder. I tried install all drivers available (including latest) for both models and didn't work.

Today I made tests with two users (one HP 2546 a other M127fn) restoring TMP user environment for original folder a after that it's work in both case. Before I can't to print Excel and Word documents, and some PDF too. After this fix, all documents are printing. There are too many people posting this problem without solution from HP.

I have 5 customers with 25 users and other printer model with TMP user environment changed and working with no problem.

The problem can be simulated.

There are problems specifically in these drivers and HP not fix until today.

I consider the post solves when HP fix the problem in the drivers.

How you make the drive of a diferent printer works? Here i try to install another driver, and the driver just dont recognize my printer!

The problem seems to be a faulty driver. But it's a shame HP is not responding to our issues. I've seen multiple threads descibing the exact same problem without a solid reaction from HP.

As a workaround i've installed the deskjet 6980 divers, now i can print from every source. My guess (and hope) is that they are working on a new driver for the 2540.
