This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are having issues connecting your printer to your computer through wired connection. I would like to help you resolve this issue.

However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,

  • Which operating system is installed on your computer?

Meanwhile:

  • Restart the computer, printer, and router.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the router.
  • Turn off the printer.
  • Close all running programs on your computer, including the HP software installation window, then shut down the computer.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the router, then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
  • Turn on the printer.
  • Turn on the computer.

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

Cheers.
