Hello @JFA2

HP Technical Service works to control the problem by connecting to my computer by remote desktop. We have experienced a problem while connecting. So, after a few days, we will try again.

Greetings,

Serdar

@JFA2,

If it is possible, you can contact HP Tech Services on your region. Before me, you can find a solution.

Hello,

Due to my workload, I couldn't call with HP Tech. And eventually, I have called them.

By remote desktop, they gathered info to search the cause of color problem.

Firstly, they adviced the methods that does. I said that I have already done these steps.

And then, they have guessed that the drivers can have been installed defectively on Windows 10 while upgrading form Win7 to Win10. So, they suggest me to install Windows 10 again on my PC by formating clearly. Of course, it will take some times to format PC.

When I format, I will inform about the result.

Greetings,

Serdar.

Hi serdar-mert.

I hope you have more luck than me. Like I wrote on post at 01-26-2016, I alreary formatted the HD of my notebook and install a fresh Windows 10, downloaded from de Microsoft website on Jan 24, 2016. After that, I downloaded from the HP website the last version of F4180 printer driver (File name: DJ_AIO_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_140_404-4.exe | Version: 14.8.0 | File size: 219.0 MB | Updated: Dec 6, 2015). The install occurred normally, but this procedure didn't solve the issue with print colors.

Regards,

Jean

Hello JFA2,

Since your comment is on the previous page, I have forgotton that you had already tried to format. Ok, I have seen it now.

I have said to "HP Support Agent" that the person who experiences this issue is not only me. But, they have said that there is no another solution way before formating, because this problem can have resulted from my PC or Windows.

At least, after trying to format, if it doesn't fix, I will mention you, too.

If new situation occurs, I write.

Greetings,

Serdar.

Hi ALL,

the same issue here with F4180 after upgrading from Win7 to Win10 on a DELL desktop. I tried above provided solutions but with no effect as well. I hope that HP is working on the fix.

Hello Joe_War,

According to me, almost everyone who has "HP F4180 Printer" experiences this problem, after upgrading from Win7 to Win10. "HP Technical Service" advices me to format my PC as I wrote above. But, JFA2 has already tried it. Still, I will have to try this method, although I don't think that the problem will be solved.

For now, I can use my printer in virtual machine on Win10 correctly.

It seems that we will learn to live with this issue...

Greetings,

Serdar.
