HP Deskjet F4280

I had a similar problem as some other users: my 15-year-old HP Deskjet F4280 was working perfectly as a scanner until I upgraded to Windows 11, at which point my computer stopped communicating with it. I stumbled across a solution, though: HP Print and Scan doctor! I downloaded and ran the program, and then it automatically resolved the communication issue. Now, I can scan through Windows Fax and Scan, Paint, and the HP Solution Center again.

The download link I used was found here: https://www.freeprintersupport.com/driver-download-hp-deskjet-f4280-driver-download-for-windows-xp-v...

I'm sure it exists elsewhere too. Hope this helps someone else who wants to hang on to their perfectly functional antique scanner!
