HP Deskjet F4580
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello,

I own an ASUS laptop running windows 7 64-bit. I also have an HP deskjet F4580.... I moved quite a bit and don't have the installation cd anymore. I have DL the drivers/software from this website several times and using different browsers. Each and every time I try to open the file to run, I get "file is corrupt" and once got a "this file is not a valid Win32 application" but that was when I got the file not from an HP site. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thank you so much

Hi ,

Go to TEMP Folder >> Delete all files in %TEMP%

Go to prefetch folder >> Delete all  files in prefetch

Delete all previously downloaded HP files

Restart your PC

This time you ll download HP Printer Driver ( NOTE - Make sure its a 64bit ) and save it on location DESKTOP

Once download is completed - RUN AS ADMIN

See if you get the error Not Valid WIN 32 Application.
