HPDigital Sender Flow 8500fn1

When we scan multip-page documents using the 8500fn1, the files either do not appear in the network drive; they may appear as a 5k document with blank pages; or, they appear but cannot be opened and display an Adobe error indicating they are corrupt.  They are not being centrally managed via DSS, and the issue is only with the 8500fn1 model.  The 9250C Digital Senders we still have in service function perfectly.  All the configurations seem to be consistent.  All 8500s are set to scan to network folder only using Windows authentication, and are set to verify folder access prior to scanning.  Users can login, select the netowrk folder, access is verifed and the document scans and appears to send on all occasions; there are no failed scan or authentication errors present in the digital sender logs. Anyone have any suggestions?

UPDATE:  So now the missing files have appeared.  the document images are NOT blank, and I just scanned another large document that appeared within a couple of minutes.

Anyone have an idea as to why there's such a delay in documents appearing in the network folders at time and minimal, if any delay other times?  There's no discernable difference in network traffic during the various attempts to re-create the issue.

That happens intermittently to me too, I just start and stop the Digital Sending Software service on the server and the scanned documents will immediately appear.  It in my opinion, is caused by several factors, network traffic, network bandwidth, and size of scanned files.
