Product: HP Officejet Pro 8720
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

I have attempting several times and the HP Easy Start continually freezes after downloading the software. I have noticed direct links to Drivers on other forums, however have not located a previously reported error for my printer, the Officejet Pro 8720. The only available Driver on the website is the HP Easy Start. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Download and install the Essensial Software for your printer dirctly from the link below:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Installations/Essentials/hp-printer-esse...

 

Next go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and click the plus sign to add your printer.

Within the Use drop down menu select the HP Officejet Pro 8720.

 

Repear the same to add the 8720 Fax queue too.

 

Finally be sure to install HP Easy Scan too to get full functionality:
