Printer will not print color from my Mac, but will print color from my PC Windows 7 Home Premium. No good answers from HP as to how to remedy this. Still within 30 days, will likely return printer as I have tried absolutely everything. Anyone have an answer here? Seems like an HP glitch.

Try updating the software by following these steps:

First ensure the printer is powered on and connected to your Mac or to the same network and reboot your Mac.

Click the Apple icon, then select About This Mac.
Click on Software Update, then click the top Store menu of the shown window and click on Reload Page.

Be sure to install any HP or Apple update, then check for any difference.

If there is still no change try resetting the printing system and check again by re-adding the printer back:

*Be aware that resetting the printer system will remove any existing print queue and reset any customized driver settings.

Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences .
Select Printers & Scanners.
Right-click (or Ctrl + click) your product in the Printers list in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system .
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type your user Name and Password .
Click OK . The printing system resets.

If the same persists after re-adding the printer manually try installing the package below:
