Thank you for advising how to change the settings so that the scanner works correctly. I have a brand new HP ENvy 5530 and it would not scan a document with a logo on it. It would only scan and a line would come out even though it showed in the preview screen that all was there. You have saved me so much distress - I have been trying this for two days now and was ready to through the @#&^#$%@ out the door!!! Once again Thannks! 😉

Thank you so much for your clear and easy instructions!! Saved me tons of time and unneeded frustration. Why can't hp tech support offer such knowlege? Turning your printer off and on again and downloading a doctor program is ridiculous if they are supposed to be experts on hp products. So, again, I say thank you!!!
