Identical situation to question.  Envy 5530 to mac osx10.10.5.  Wifi connection. Read all helps.  reloaded drivers.  Reset printer  following apple instructions on subject (wiping out other printers was a nasty surprise :Crying:  so will have to download other drivers. )   HP scan utility from computer gives error message, says printer unavailable.  Only way to scan is by USB cable from printer display.  Why did this work so beautifly before and now such a drag?  Give me a solution.  If it had never worked, i would not be so mad, but to have it work well and now quit....  

 

Please have a fix for me!!!

Thanks so much! i had the same problem. I originally had a Windows PC and  then bought a Mac Book Pro. This worked!
