My HP Envy 5546 is using channel 12, which is already occupied by my current Wifi network (which I cant change).
Is there anyway I can change the Wifi channel on which the HP Envy 5546 printer broadcasts to another channel?
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
The printer's Wifi channel follows what the router's channel.
So yes, you can change the printer's wifi channel if you go to your router settings and change the channel. In order to do that, you need to get into the Router's webpage.
For example, our router can be accessed by keying in the IP address - http://192.168.1.254/
Not sure if that works for you.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for responding, but my real reason for asking is that I wanted to change the channel used by my HP Envy 5546 so it was different and did not conflict with my router's channel. I am unable to change my router's channel because the ISP does not permit the channel to be changed, and anyway changing the printer's channel to being the same as the router's channel wouldnt remove the conflict.

There is no conflict. All wireless device use the same channel that the router has set. The devices themselves can not change the channel.
BTW, yes you can change the router channel yourself without your ISP help. Just read your router manual.

Thanks. I was trying to remove the conflict between my own WiFi network and the WiFi-Direct network generated by the printer itself, as they both occupy the same channel 12, and I am unable to change the channel of my personal WiFi as the router is "locked" by the ISP.
As all my devices access the printer through my personal WiFi network I have now resolved this by turning the WiFI-Direct signal off, as I cannot see anyway I can change the channel used by the WiFi-Direct signal.
