HP Deskjet F4400
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The title is pretty self explanitory. My parents have an HP F4400 deskjet and they have been complaining about a sort of "double vision" printing, and I thought at first the printed was misaligned. I did the alignment and scanned the page and nothing changed. Put in new cartridges and nothing changed. Anyone have any more ideas of how to get this fixed? They are at the point of wanting to throw this out and I don't blame them.

EDIT: Followed another troubleshooting for another problem here and cleaned the cartridges by hand (although they were new) and it seems to have fixed the problem. Didn't do that at first because a new cartridge should have been clean. Can't delete this post but I thought I would make an edit showing I had fixed it this way
