Scanjet G4050
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have downloaded the full feature software for my Scanjet G4050 multiple times.  I can scan using Windows scan, but not HP scan.  I tried the HP scan doctor and it tells me that I need to have HP Imaging Device functions.  Is there someplace to download these functions other than downloading the full feature driver.  I have downloaded that many times and still the HP Imaging Device functions are missing.

Please share the error displayed while scan it initiated using HP Scan software (if possible, please share snap of the error).

Hope that you are using a standard length of USB cable (preferably HP USB cable) and device is successfully detected during the setup process.  If you have experienced any error during the software installation,  please share the error details.

You may also try to to validate scanner hardware functionality, if there is any other computer system available to test the same setup.
