Welcome to the forums RLeonSmiley Happy

I have read your post about the Scanner Communication Error you are seeing when you attempt to scan with your Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 and Windows 7 system. Thank you very much for the screen shots, they help me tremendously!

At this point, I would suggest for you to Uninstall the Printer Software, restart your computer and then reinstall the printer by using the Full Feature Driver Download.

I hope that works! Please let me know the results.

I hope you are having an excellent WednesdaySmiley Happy

Hi there RLeon!

Thanks for getting back to me! I have some more ideas, that might help out.

1. Run the Microsoft Fix It tool to uninstall the printer.

2. Remove the printer from Print server properties in the Devices and Printers from the Control Panel.

3. Select Start and type in CMD and press enter, in the command prompt type in SFC /SCANNOW

4. After the scan now is finished running, perform a Clean Boot (How to perform a clean boot)

5. After the PC restarts, try running the installation again.

Hopefully that will do the trick! Let me know the results!

Have a great weekend:)

Hi RLeon!

I am sorry to see the results. At this stage, I recommend restoring your Windows 7 OS.

If you wish to go ahead with the restore, the guide below will help you!

Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7)
