HP LaserJet 3055
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hello. I have a problem with the HP LaserJet 3055 multifunction device. It does not scan when using the Windows 8 operating system! The scanner does not work! All the rest (PRINTER, COPYING) works !!! On Windows Vista to scan it turns out. Tell me, what can I do in this situation?

 

P.S.
Most likely, the problem is in the drivers specifically under the Windows OS 8! Help!

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

 

Can you try this:

 

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Let us know if that works.

It does not help. It's just a scan utility !! Most likely there is a problem with the HP drivers specifically under Windows 8! Many user complaints are specifically for scanning on computers with Windows 8. Please tell me another solution!

Chromebook is using Webscan , so it's relevant for you as well.

Maybe your company has a driver for Windows 8 ???

Hi,

Does either HP Scan Extended or Webscn work?  Were you able to scan?

 

From the HP website, there are no scan drivers for Win 8.
