HP Recommended

I had similar problem with HP LaserJet 500 MFP M525. The web page (and connection to print server) of the printer didn't work over a VPN link. Over LAN there were no problems.  I checked packets with wireshark and it occured that this printer had obvoius problem with mtu size. There is no mtu settings on the printer so I did ping the printer with don't fragment option and various mtu size. When I figured out what mtu size the printer accepted I changed  "ip tcp adjust-mss" command on Cisco router to value of the checked mtu decreased by 40.
HP should definitely do something about this problem with their printers over VPN networks.
