Tried to print a pcb layout from EAGLE Cadsoft program on a photographic paper, A6. The A6 paper was on the top of some A4 papers, so the printer didn't took the A6 paper. After that, the "Install black cartidge" error appeared. Tried to power off, removed the power cord for 1 minute, checked for paper inside, cleaned the pins from the cartidge AND from the printer... still the same error. Some help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for providing that information @north991.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Please try the steps listed in this document for the Solution for Attention light blinking and Ready light on, HP LaserJet Pro Printers - Blinking Lights.
If the issue continues, please Contact HP Support and let them know you have a in warranty toner and inquire about a replacement. Fill in the model number and the form to receive a case number for quicker assistance.
Please keep me posted. Thank you.

Hi @north991,

Clear out the print queue on the computer. If a job is in the queue with the error message, it might still cause issues.
Is there any lights flashing on the printer?
Try and print a hardware self test on the printer to find out if it is a hardware or software issue, HP LaserJet Pro Printers - Printing a Configuration Page or Report. Let me know if it printed.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Check to make sure a piece of paper didn't pull in part way in the tray, blocking any sensors also. Remove all the paper and just load the one size.
If the issue persists, remove the toner and use a flashlight to check for any tiny pieces of paper that might be caught and blocking the toner sensor in that area.
Do you have the Laserjet P1102 or the Laserjet P1102w? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
I can send you a reset to try if it is the Laserjet P1102w.
Are you using Genuine HP Toner?
Please let me know the results and if there is anything else I can help you with. Thank you.

I tried all listed above, the test paper wasn't printed.
The printer is directly connected to a wall outlet.
I didn't saw any paper in the printer (inside it). Also, I checked the Toner's pins to make contact, and they do. I'm using a genuine HP Toner. The printer is P1102, NOT P1102w.
At startup, both green and orange leds are on and after some second, the orange led is blinking.
Thanks for help, but it isn't solved yet.
With respect,

I tried to push some paper in the printer and somehow i touched that parts. I don't know how to call them, but after that I heared a sound from the printer and after some seconds a shining green led flashed. Strange, now it's all ok.
Thanks for the help in all this thread, much appreciated.
