Everything started working normally after i TURNED ON the BOOTP setting in additon to DHCP.

For whatever reason, BOOTP needs to be ENABLED for this printer to get DHCP functionality.

This must be the error that was introduced in the new firmware, maybe they got BootP and DHCP mixed-up?!?

Just turn them both on, and perhaps  it might start working well. It did for me.

This worked for me.  I went into the printer configuration page at http://10.0.0.77/SSI/index.htm.  Clicked on the Networking tab -> IPv4 configuration.  Then checked BootP (make sure that BootP is checked).  Also, look under the Information tab -> Network Summary -> Enabled Features:  BootP should be enabled.

After turning this on, my printer had no problems waking up from sleep.
