My HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276nw is printing extremely slow all of a sudden. It was not like this at first. When giving the print command, you have to wait and wait for it to start printing the first page, and again wait and wait for the follow up pages to be printed.

Hi @T3L,
I understand the printer is printing really slow. I can help you, but I will need some more information.
In the mean time, power cycle everything.
Turn the printer and computer off.
Disconnect the power cable on the router for 10 seconds, (if networked) then reconnect the power cable again.
Turn the computer on, then the printer.
I would setup a static IP for the printer also if it is networked.
Printer Does Not Maintain a Wireless Connection. Disregard the title.
Under Windows, select Solution three: Assign the printer a static IP address.
Please provide the following information so I can assist you better.
What operating system are you using? How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)
Does this happen printing from any application?
What applications have you tried?
Have a nice day!
Thank You.

Hi, We have the same problem since few months.
When we try to print, it takes at least 10 minutes before the printer reacts to the command and it often stop before printing and result in a printing error.
This happen mainly from internet sites.
We are connected via WIFI, the IP address is static, printer is ready and network reports no problems.
We use Windows 7 Profession SP1

Hi @li11 ,
I see that you are also experiencing issues with slow printing, but you are setup over the wireless network. You have already setup a static IP for the printer. I will certainly do my best to help you.
Did you assign a fixed IP address or did the router provide the IP address, when you setup the static IP?
If you manually set the printer's IP, make sure that it is outside of your router's DHCP range.
I would power cycle everything.
Turn the printer and computer off.
Disconnect the power cable on the router for 10 seconds, then reconnect the power cable again.
Turn the computer on, then the printer.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Try printing again.
Update the printer's firmware. Software & Drivers.
Print a hardware self test to see if the printer prints fast or not. Printing a Configuration Report.
If you are still having issues then I would bypass the router altogether to see if it prints faster with a USB connection.
How far is the printer from the router?
A nearby device that emits radio signals (such as a microwave or cordless telephone) might interfere with the wireless connection.
What is in between the printer and the router? (wall, ceiling)
What network setup do you have? (Modem/Router/2 Routers/Booster/Airport)
Did the printer print faster by a USB connection?
If you need further assistance, just let me know.
Have a great day!
Thank You.
