Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
I have an HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color MFP M475dn that is in good working order but the driver that I have downloaded from HP for this model printer and for the OS, does not support the scanner feature. I have updated the unit's firmware which did not make any difference. During HP's installation process, the scanner will work but then the installation app errors out and then uninstalls which then triggers the computer to not detect the scanner. I have installed and run HP's Support Assistant which completes and says all is installed well but still, the scanner is not detected. Any suggestions?
